Full Medical Check Up Brisbane
In Brisbane today, more and more people are choosing to go to their GP for their annual full medical and body check up. Why? Medical research tells us that over 50% of cancers, 90% of type 2 diabetes and 50% of all heart disease is preventable. Makes sense to stay on top of your health?
The good news is that our GPs have multiple cost effective and efficient screening tools to detect signs of early cancer, cardio problems or type 2 diabetes. Early prevention is especially important once you get over the age of 50. For a lot of these life threatening conditions it is not a matter of if but when.
What Is A Full Body Check Up?
It is a check up on your present lifestyle choices as well as medical history to work out whether you are on track or if you are at risk of developing chronic health issues or diseases. Essentially it is about prevention, which is what we at Ubuntu Medical are all about.
Health Is Your Most Important Asset!
The irony is that we often spend more money each year destroying our body than protecting it. Think how much money you spend on alcohol, going out, stress and generally living an inactive lifestyle? Even if we spent 10% on health prevention then we would live longer, healthier lives.
How Much Does It Cost?
Thirty dollar Gap fee. However, if this cost is prohibitive ask our receptionists and the GP may be able to bulk bill you.
What Are The Benefits?
The full medical check up will be able to detect things such as cancers earlier. If cancer is treated early, patients generally has a high survival rate.
You may also be interested in getting your genes tested. This will give you an accurate picture of what diseases you may be susceptible to.
