Katie O’Dea is a counsellor, educator, musician and mother of 4 children aged 12 to 20. She works to support new parents, young people of all ages, and those working in education. She has worked in schools and universities for over 25 years, and has a particular interest in students’ mental health and academic success, and counselling for teachers and school staff, valuable for a healthy school culture.

Katie uses a variety of psychological approaches depending on her client’s needs and preferences. These include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and utilising creative arts in therapy.

Katie looks forward to meeting with you and finding a gentle and thoughtful way through life’s big and little challenges. Clinic days are currently Mon and Thurs between 9 am and 4 pm.
